About me

On the outside
A doctorate in the sciences, leading a team, competent. On the inside, it did not add up.
For a long time I kept functioning: university, a doctorate, leadership responsibility. Until nothing worked any more.
The way back
Since I began meditating 13 years ago, the road has been long and rough. Through burnout and depression too. The way from the head back into the body carried me for years. I also lost it again and again, tried a lot, took many different paths.
What got me out was not an insight. It was a practice.
Today I have found a whole system. Coherent, integrated. For the first time, I feel at home in it. Not something I am trying on for a while. Something serious.
Training
I trained in Vinyasa, Ashtanga and Kundalini Kriya Yoga, more than 1000 hours, some of it in India.
I stayed with Kriya because it takes me a level deeper than hatha yoga does.
Today
Today I study occupational therapy and teach Kundalini Kriya Yoga. I guide people along the path I walked myself.
I pass this on because I have lived it.
